I live in Cozumel and I'm working through my scuba certifications here. Each guide gets written while the dive is still close: the questions I had at the dock that I felt too embarrassed to ask, the things nobody warned me about, the small calls the instructor made that I only understood later. Over time this site will cover the reefs, the marine life, the conditions month by month, the cert path, and the operators worth booking with.
I write about diving here from inside the experience: what the day was actually like, what I wondered about, what was real, and what wasn't. When I name a shop, it's because the experience can be useful to you. No operator pays for placement here.
